Family Matters

So, it has been quite a while since I have posted, but we have had a lot of things going on in the past several weeks. I will start with last Monday. My dad had a heart attack while working and was hospitalized until Thursday. Thankfully, everything checked out and when they did a heart cath, his arteries were clear. The Lord was definitely looking out for him. He was in the hospital until Thursday morning and then my parents came here for the weekend. He will be out of work for two weeks and then he can do a desk job for another four weeks. Hopefully he will follow doctors orders and take care of himself. We love him to much to let him go.

Friday, my sister, Ashley graduated from LIT in Beaumont with her degree
in Radiology. Congratulations to Ashley for a job well done. She is so much fun and I love spending time with her. She is going to be moving to Louisiana soon and I am going to miss her so much. Just thinking about her moving her away gets me all emotional. I know wherever she works she will make a great employee. We love her.

So, I am in my 13th week. This will be the last week of my first trimester. I am anxious to get to my second trimester so I can have some energy, but then that means only 6 months to go and I do not feel at all prepared for this baby. I know six months sounds like a long time, but sometimes I feel like six months are going to fly by and then the baby will come and we won't be ready for him/her. I guess I am just a little crazy. I go see the doctor next Tuesday morning.
