Doctor Visit #2

Yesterday I went to see the doctor for my second visit and I got a surprise...she did an ultrasound!!!! So I saw our baby for the first time yesterday...it was amazing!!! It is kind of hard to explain the emotions that came over me on this blog, but just know that I have never felt anything like it before. I came home with four pictures and will hopefully figure out how to get them on the blog, with Jeremys help of course.

I don't think it was planned at all, because when the doctor came in and was feeling me, she took me to the ultrasound room where she later told me she thought there might have been twins, but there is just one. I thought Jeremy would have been so excited, (he wants twins, so we get a two for one deal) and I myself kind of got excited over the idea of having twins, but I am also glad to know that our one baby is healthy and growing beautifully. Everything else must have been okay because after that I was on my way home. I go back to the doctor in 4 weeks and then about 2 weeks after that I will have the ultrasound that tells if we have a boy or a girl!!! So six weeks to go, which will also mean that I am twenty weeks, which means I am half way through the pregnancy...CRAZY!!!!

PS: My dad is doing great. He went back to work on Monday and will work three days a week doing desk work. He will probably do this for a couple of weeks and then he will go back on his regular patrol work. Thanks to everyone who has offered their well wishes. I appreciate your words of encouragement.
