Spring Break

So it has been a long time since I have posted, but in my defense I have been quite busy. I had several large orders the first weeks in march. I had an order of 300 cookies for a wedding that I crammed into a weekend so that I could surprise my mom by visiting her on spring break. I had some help from my aunt to get all of the work done and I was successful in surprising my mom and dad. I hitched a ride with family and spent several days in the hill country with everyone. We had a lot of fun and it was just girls...well my dad was there, but he was working so we just had dinner with him in the evenings. We did some shopping because there was nothing else to do. Usually when we go to visit them we sit outside a lot, but it got cold and rained for basically two days so we couldn't do anything outside...hence all of the shopping. It was good for me to get away because I had been so busy with baking and all.

After a couple of days away and a 7 hour ride back home, I was glad to be back in my house with my husband and the two dogs. They missed me so much, but Jeremy probably missed me more.

Since I have been back home, I have not done much. I am not doing any orders for the rest of march because I neglected so much at the beginning of march that I need time to catch up. And of course, our plumbing has given us problems this week. We had some guys look at it today and they said there is a break in the line...oh goody!! So hopefully we will not have to shell out too much money to get it fixed.

They are coming back tomorrow to investigate further, so maybe we can get some answers. Tonight is "The Office"!!!!!! I will be giving my opinions tomorrow so keep a watch out for that.
