Wonderful Weekends

Yesterday marked 4 weeks until my given due date!!! 4 WEEKS!!!! What is going on...time is going by so quickly, so Jeremy and I are trying to get in as much couple time as possible.

Earlier in the pregnancy, we talked about having a baby moon...a mini-vacation before the baby comes. Well, time got away from us and we decided not to go away, but spend our weekends enjoying each others company. Friday started as any other day. We had tacos for dinner (i made them) accompanied by salsa and queso (courtesy of Casa Ole). Before I could eat Jeremy presented me with a card...it was sweet and inside were two tickets to see Taylor Swift in concert!!! I am so excited!! The concert sold out in 10 minutes!!! The concert is not until May, so that means I have six months to continue my excitement!! Can you believe that my Jeremy got tickets!! After this surprise, my tacos and queso tasted even better!!

Saturday we started off our day with breakfast at Cracker Barrel...I had pecan pancakes and Jeremy had a breakfast with a pork chop and eggs and other things. It was super delicious. Then we headed off to the movies...Where the Wild Things Are. I enjoyed the movie...there were a lot of small children in the theater and it was not really a kid movie, but they are not my kids so who cares. We spent some time in Beaumont playing and then back home to be lazy.

Sunday was a good day of worship and Sabbath day rest. I love Sabbath day rest.

Today we slept late...not many of these left so we are taking advantage. Chewy started barking around 7 am at the school bus and then came and snuggled me. He and Foster stayed asleep until I got up around 8:30 am. I had some blood work done this morning and then we met with our pediatrician this afternoon. Jeremy and I both like the guy. The pediatrician's office is by Marble Slab so I decided today that Asher will probably be getting ice cream after every visit to the doctor...way to bribe my son before he is even born. Jeremy is gone this evening so I am home with the dogs watching HGTV!!! Love it!!

Tomorrow I must get back to some of my wife duties...and I go to the doctor tomorrow morning to start my weekly appointments!!! Weekly appointments...I am definitely getting closer to actually having a baby!!!
