4 Months

Baby Asher is 4 months old!!! We visited the doctor a couple of days ago for his 4 month appointment and he received 4 shots to celebrate the big day!! Not fun for anyone, especially mom and dad. It completely breaks our hearts to hear him scream when the nurse gives the shots, but he was good the rest of the day. In another room we heard this from another child: "No mommy. Not yet." It was so sad. In the past month, Asher had grown and developed so much of a personality. We think he is going to be a funny kid like his dad and of course he is going to be the smartest kid EVER!!! But really, this is what Asher is up to:

• he weighs 17 lb 2 oz (90%)
• he is 26 inches long (90%)
• loves to smile and laugh and talk
• grabs onto toys, hair, necklaces, etc.
• puts the above things into his mouth
• rolls from his tummy to his back (we are working on rolling the other way)
• drools a lot thanks to teething
• can almost stick his fist in his mouth
• goes to bed at 9:30 and sleeps until 7 am
• plays in his bed until 8 am while get my day started (i love this time)
• takes three naps during the day
• takes 1 T of cereal in his morning bottle
  
  

I love everyday with him. He is a delight to be around except when he is hungry, but I think we are all a little grouchy when hungry.
